This happens every time. Getting your mirror fogged after you shower is so common we all just have to get used to it. But what if you need to use that mirror right after you shower. There are easy ways to prevent your mirror from fogging up, so you can use that mirror without having to wait or to wipe it leaving it dirty.
This one is an easy solution. You can just rub a soap bar on the mirror gently before you take a shower.
Don’t rub it too hard or it might create a layer that won’t let you look into it at all. Then remove excess soap with a cloth.
This will leave a thin layer of soap covering the mirror preventing it from fogging.
This is an easy and quick solution that will also leave your mirror clean.
Another easy way to prevent your bathroom mirror from fogging up is applying some shampoo on it.
We recommend you use a clean cloth to do this and don’t use too much shampoo.
The effect is the same as with the soap. What we want is a light layer that covers the mirror and prevents fog from attaching itself to it.
Vinegar can help you with this problem too.
You can make a solution between water and vinegar. It makes everything easier if you use a spray bottle to apply it to the mirror.
The solution should be water and vinegar in equal parts. So if you’re going to add one cup of water, you should add one cup of vinegar too.
You can also add a couple of drops of dishwasher.
Once you spray it, you can wipe it out with a paper towel, just to remove excess.
Use you hair dryer
If you forgot to do anything to your mirror before taking a shower and its fogged already, it’s not too late.
Just use your hair dryer and make it blow toward the mirror.
It doesn’t matter if it’s hot or cold, just put it really close. This will de-fog it right away. Opening the bathroom door and windows will help too.
We hope these small tricks help you next time you need your mirror after taking a hot shower. We’re trying to be as helpful to you as possible.
